In the summer of 1984, a real treasure, harking back to the 1950s, could be found at the harbor Yan Chen District in the area of Qi Xian Rd. This foreign-flavored bar featured typically Taiwanese style fried snacks, catering to homesick travelers, travelers with a taste for nostalgic, neon signs hung in 'AMY'S' shop window, drinkers of wine, travelers, and sailors with twinkling eyes!
In 1984, Amy and her mother started the first restaurant in Qi Xian Rd. - AMY'S BEER HOUSE.

Kaohsiung people appreciate the food dishes she developed, as the time was ripe with meaning to develop new tastes, full of memories of her mother's personal cooking.
